Property Overview

The Tuscarora site is an 80 acre lode mineral property. The Tuscarora is the original "Carlin Trend" property. The property covers the apexes of the primary paying veins in the region. The Navajo, The Nevada Queen, The Independence, The Belle Isle and the North Belle Isle. The general trending of the veins is also captured within the property boundaries. The subsurface working are documented to have values of 1.2 to 5.5 oz. per ton of AU. This number may be a very low estimation as surface dumps return similar numbers.
No one has been in the subsurface workings since the 1930s and it will take significant effort to open and rehab the workings. With that in mind, there are hundreds of thousands (est 640,000) of tons of dump material on the surface that averages well over 1 oz per ton in gold and 10x that value in silver. MW Mining took hundreds of surface samples from 2018-2020 which showed an average assay value of 1.79 oz AU/T and 40.6 oz. AG/T.
The last subsurface drilling was done in 1997-1998 by Newcrest Resources. who reported "several high grade gold vein intercepts under 49-95 meters of transported cover". There is over one million ounces of gold in the surface dumps as assayed and measured.
The Dumps on the Navajo, Nevada Queen, Belle Isle and others on the property have not been re-worked. Which was a key element in the location of the properties. South and west of the "pit" the dumps have been re-worked, profitably, 2-3x since the early 1900s. The
The property was worked in 2018-2022 by Buck Hunter and MW Mining. They measured and smelted a few hundred tons and made recoveries equal to the 1.79 oz./T AU assays. Mr. Hunter passed in September of 2021 and no further work was completed on the property.

American Pacific Mining is working lower grade material just south of this Tuscarora property and has leased all of the area around the Gold Rush owned Tuscarora property. However the primary target zones and veins are not contained on their properties as noted by many geological statements and vein mapping. https://americanpacificmining.com/projects/tuscarora-project/

The Tuscarora is a high value target that boasts well over one million ounces of minable gold on the surface and twenty-five million ounces of silver. There is no accomodation for blocked deposits and reserves underground that may be tapped by following the veins.
The property is likely most efficiently developed by a mining company with the resources to process bulk quantity of dumps and eventually access the subsurface. However, as Mr. Hunter showed, a small miner with a good amount of ambition and drive can easily recover three to five ounces a week with minimal investment.

Gold Rush Expeditions, Inc. does offer mining consultation services and assistance with permits for a small fee.
